
Dana Schaub is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, yoga/fitness instructor, and Board Certified Mental Health Coach. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mobile, and her Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi. As a lifelong dancer and lover of movement, her passion naturally transitioned into fitness. She became a 200hr Registered Yoga Instructor through “Holy Yoga” and also teaches various dance inspired fitness classes.
Dana is passionate about helping others truly care for themselves from the inside out, taking a holistic approach to nutrition/self-care. She uses an intuitive approach to nutrition, using both inner wisdom of how God made our bodies, and outer wisdom of how food affects our health. She helps her clients move away from restrictive diets; and work towards a peaceful, compassionate relationship with food, movement, and their bodies.

Nutrition counseling: Using a holistic/non-restrictive approach to eating and taking care of yourself, my specialties include: eating disorder recovery, disordered eating recovery, women’s health issues/PCOS, gut health, digestive issues, Diabetes management, and nutrition for athletes/dancers. I work with both adults and caregivers of kids/teens/tweens.
If you want to get off the dieting roller coaster and reduce fear/stress around eating, I also offer coaching to help you find a more peaceful relationship with eating and movement. I use an Intuitive Eating approach and also offer faith-based nutrition counseling.
Mindful Movement for Strength, Flexibility, and Stress Management: My goal is to help you create/sustain a peaceful/joyful relationship with movement. I offer personal mindful movement sessions which may incorporate yoga and strength training. This service is open to anyone who wants to move your body more, find joy (not punishment) in moving, increase your flexibility, and/or reduce stress—especially if you are intimidated by gyms, personal trainers, or group classes. It is open to all abilities and all bodies!
